Blog - The Tenterden Club
This year I've had the pleasure of working at The Tenterden Club (also known as the Tenterden Working Mens Club).
While the downstairs bar area is for members only, the upstairs bar and function room is perfect for private parties, such as weddings and birthday celebrations.
The function hall has a stage to allow DJs and bands to setup on if extra space is needed in the hall itself - although there's plenty of space in the adjacent bar area.
There are plenty of power sockets on the stage so it's easy for a DJ or band, although some will choose to moan about the narrow stairs.
Both times I've been at The Tenterden Club this year I've setup in front of the stage as I don't like to distance myself from the crowd too much, particularly when there's plenty of space.
The venue staff are very friendly too and help to ensure that any event runs smoothly.
