Contracts form an essential part of our lives, whether you like them or not we've all got plenty of them.

And there's a good reason, a contract specifies what is required of both parties and can provide protection should anything go wrong. So what role does have a contract have with a mobile disco or wedding DJ booking? Well, that's down to you. You can book a DJ on word of mouth and hope they turn up and provide what you're looking for. And I'm sure in most cases you'll get what you want. But you have to ask, what if? What if the DJ doesn't turn up? What if the music doesn't suit the function? The list goes on. With a contract (or booking form) the details of what is required should be specified to include dates and times as well as any special requirements. Any changes to these should be agreed in writing. But what does a contract look like? There's no set format for a contract, they are usually customised to suit different companies and follow different formats.
