While exhibiting at the East Kent Wedding Fair last month, I heard the wonderful news that the Little Silver Country Hotel has been saved and will be reopening.
Following the devastating news earlier this year that the hotel and wedding venue had closed, I had expected that to be the end of this lovely venue.
Thankfully the venue has been saved by businessman Terry Haigh and is set to reopen shortly, believed to be the hotel reopening first and then the events side of the business to follow.
In a statement posted by the new team, they confirmed the hotel is now "a hive of activity preparing to welcome guests".
This is truly heart-warming to hear the great news. Having been one of the resident DJs starting back in 2011, I have so many fond memories of the many weddings I've celebrated in Kent Hall.
My best wishes go to the team as they prepare to reopen and wish them many years of success at this gorgeous wedding venue.
