Last weekend I was at the historic Corn Exchange in Rochester for a fun 30th birthday party with a great range of music.

This is a historic building in the heart of Rochester with two halls; I was in the larger Queens Hall upstairs for this party.

The venue has a small stage they provide for DJs to setup on at one end of the dancefloor.

Despite there being a sound limiter in place, it really isn't a problem. I brought my larger sound system due to the size of the hall and had no problems all night. During sound checks I was way under the threshold so was able to turn it up as requested later in the night.

The venue has a glamorous sweeping staircase for guests to walk up to the venue, which would be great for wedding photos. Luckily for DJs there is a lift available near the front door so the equipment can be whisked straight upstairs without any hassle.

Here's the music that I played during the party:

You can view more information about the venue from Medway Council's website.
